Police Report - Fioricet
An officer in the area of the Post Road East and Hillspoint Road observed a driver pulling out of Sakura and taking a left turn over the divider on the Post Road. The officer stopped the vehicle and when identifying the driver as Kenneth Solomon, 56, of Stamford, noted that his eyes were glassy. The officer asked if he had anything to drink and performed a field sobriety test, which he failed. Solomon was brought to headquarters, where he was found to have five capsules containing an unidentified material in his possession, but which was identified by Solomon as Fioricet a narcotic-like substance.
Police forwarded the sample to a testing lab for results. Solomon was arrested for driving under the influence and failure to drive right. He was released on a $250 bond for the motor vehicle infraction and a $250 bond for the felony charge. He was given a court date of April 21.
